Ink sketch using Dragon’s Blood as the only color. The medium used to mix the Dragon’s Blood resin was stand oil/alcohol, which produces this deep ruby red color. October 2015

Geranium painted with Liquin Light Gel, which produced the thinnest paint and dried the fastest. 6×8 – oil on paper.
I decided to paint some of the geraniums on my patio, using 6×8 gessoed watercolor paper. It took about 3 hours to create the 3 paintings.
